How Does It Work?
Counselling involves face-to-face interaction between client and therapist in a secure therapeutic environment. Counselling is commonly reffered to as “talking therapy” as sessions allow for you to voice any anxieties, worries and other problems into a safe space.
My counselling approach integrates a number of different methods. Person-centered is directed client led whilst myself as your therapist will be attentive to emotions and reactions you may experience. Counselling can often be used to help you “unload” and clear your head, and can vary in session quantity.
In comparison, Psychotherapy takes counselling structure and integrates a more explorative and investigative method to address deeper meanings as to why a client may feel the way they do.
